Re: Sutton United visit on Bank Holiday
Well to my delight I today discovered that Sutton have only won twice on the road and, with 11 points, have the worst away record. Hopefully we play a decent side and get our third successive home victory but despite their shocking form on their travels it won't be easy. Looking forward to going ba...

Re: Playoff semi dates
Do we want Tranmere or FGR in the semis (assuming we get there and Lincoln don't come off the rails big style now)? To be honest should we finish the job, I'm not fussed either way. I can't imagine Tranmere's record against the top 6 can be that good, both FGR ourselves won on their patch, Aldersho...

Re: Who's going down?
Saddens me a little to say Torquay are probably gone. My Dad's a lifelong fan and tells me the team and the manager have given it everything (almost beating Lincoln today being no fluke) but it sounds like unfortunately their new owners have little to no interest in footballing matters. It's even go...

Re: Run in.
Pretty important result for the run-in tonight, not what we'd have wanted but also nothing to major. Tranmere 0-1 Forest Green. Means Forest Green are pretty much secure of a play-off space, plus 5 points ahead of us in 4th. It also means Lincoln now have greater breathing space at the top, also wit...

Re: Who would you rather won the league?
Wouldn't mind 90 mins against Lincoln at Wembley, but wouldn't fancy playing them over two legs. Tranmere might appear daunting having won 9-0, but it takes some doing to concede 9, I think there's more questions about Solihull than there is Tranmere from that game. So for now I'd probably have to a...

Re: Macclesfield..
This is a tough one to get my head around. In terms of keeping Macclesfield out of the play-off race, yes a draw would be ok. But I don't think it'll do us much favours against the others as I fully expect Dover, Barrow, Gateshead and Aldershot all to win their games. By drawing we'd literally be ha...

Re: pre-season in Portugal
Yeah I'm also interested in spending a few days over there. I wasn't at the fans forum where it was first announced, were there any other details passed? I'm sure like me, others would be grateful if you could share.

Re: York City
It's going to be a tight finish, that's for sure. Having witnessed the performance at Aldershot I would have been be pleased with any sort of a win today. Sometimes the only way to break a shocking run is to scrape a win, though I believed that would have finished after the FGR win, so not counting ...

Re: Aldershot today how will we play ?
Just got back from a very windy and wet drive down the A303. Weather matching my current mood. I thought Aldershot were made to look better than they are. Only one of their players who stood out as genunity quality to me which was their left winger, who absolutely destroyed Sheps in the first half. ...

Re: Aldershot today how will we play ?
I've just arrived in Aldershot about half an hour ago. 3 hours trip from down south but a nice one at that, entirely traffic free for the most part.
First time here so going to have a look around then hopefully the boys can put a decent performance tonight!

Re: Billericay Watch
Interestingly (and yes relevant to Daggers), according to the NLP, John Still was wanted by Tamplin just prior to his new 2-year contract with us. If this is true, we know Tamplin is splashing the cash, but with the large amount of cash already spent, I wonder if he was able to offer him enough to t...

Re: FGR Reaction
I think Hawkins is a decent player for this level, if we get promoted one way or another, I certainly would be looking to keep him on. I think we have to remember he's still only 24, time is on his side and whilst I agree with the majority he's not currently a Championship striker, I doubt the likes...
