Re: pompey

After they scored the first, which fair play to the guy rammed it in well whilst under pressure around him, just blew our grip of the game, before then our boys especially on killing off Pompey attacks played some really great long balls out to the likes of Porter who first half on that right wing w...

Re: My bottom teams

Bit strange that no mention of Carlisle, especially as they've, just like Accrington got shot of their gaffer, and awful goals for and against in table and rightly wedged at bottom, shame we can't play them at the moment. Didn't do Oxford but the other seven games this season watching I'd say other ...

Re: pompey

I know the score don't warrant it, but desperately unlucky not to get something out of this game last night. Some of our play especially just before the half time first goal was pretty awesome, gosh our lucks gotta change soon! Believe it or not, first 40 minutes our defence was the best I've seen i...

Re: pompey

Leaving any minute now, a drive job, but thankfully from last years Boxing Day bonanza know Pompey's manor is pretty decent for parking. Would ,like normal preferred trains but is it possible to get back to London Town on an evening game there? As should imagine its around a ten o'clock departure fr...

Re: Same old same old......(The original thread)

Something about us at home is missing big time, and it just doesn't seem to get any better. How many times have we met away fans after and got their side of the game and lost count how many have said you're a pretty decent team in places but don't seem to hold on. Any levels there's always going be ...

Re: Same old, same old...

This performance past half time was probably the worst I've seen for a long while albeit when we grabbed one back making it 2-3 thought last ten minutes or so we could have if bloody lucky grabbed a point. Money obviously made good substitutions and rattled our defence (if you can call it that) ,but...

Re: Northampton Thread

Three key factors that are destroying are morals, the awful way we perform on the pitch at home, our terrible defending and giving the bloody ball away far too much! Sad insight to say but even if we had Scott Doe on the field Saturday we'd have still got beat, and that's talking about what he's bec...

Re: Northampton Thread

Talking about attendances, this match today could be hopefully a slight blessing for the club, it seems Daggers are the only League side playing in town today as because of the International games quite a few League One's are off too including neighbours Leyton Orient. Nearest other teams to us play...

Re: Northampton Thread

F**k me didn't realize until the table sent in by Mike that we've never scored at home against them, so if we break that duck tomorrow one dagger player will be our hero for the day whatever the outcome. Somehow can not see it being goalless and wouldn't it be great at last to grab the 3 points. Fou...

Re: Signage

And Friday night football doesn't seem to successful too, clubs like Tranmere Rovers, Accrington and quite a few others havn't pushed their receipts high at all. Just goes to show on a general scale what saturation Sky football has done to modern League football and BT sport are getting on the act t...

Re: Signage

Have you ever thought about say if our boys were mid to late season running on table first or second and having only lost our first two matches, and looking well good for promotion. how much more over the gate would we collar, 500 odd maybe if we're lucky? Even when we went one up to League One we h...

Re: Signage

Good point to raise Arnu, why can't the club or for that matter 1,500 ish dagger fans (whip round maybe?) buy that commercial cleaning shop on the corner of Vic Road, I often talk about it as 'Broom hole corner', never ever seen any body in there, maybe just a storage shop but its right on main road...

Re: Looked good.

Matt Partridge is definitely been our best player this term, think he'll turn out as first man on the team sheet at this rate. Also O'Brien is becoming more confident now and just maybe he'll add us a few valuable points in the season.

Re: Looked good.

Very pleasing performance today, probably one game that I can honestly say we took control of completely, can't quite put me finger on what ,if there was one, was Mansfield game plan, maybe it would take away from our boys the credit they deserve, but they just couldn't seem to keep the ball for lon...

Re: Mansfield

We're at home so its going to be hard! Seriously though after Tuesday night we hopefully have pulled up our team confidence and could give the stags a good showing, be fantastic a win and a few sides slightly above us lose, expect Wayne will keep the same side, but as mentioned they're a tall side s...
