Think its time we stopped this undisclosed secrets.
If fans are being asked for donations to ensure the continued exsistance of the Club then transfer of assets be kept sectet aint really on.

It’s usually the purchasing club that request any fees are kept undisclosed.SUSSEX DAGGER wrote: ↑Sun Jun 10, 2018 12:50 pm Think its time we stopped this undisclosed secrets.

And publishing the fee sets a level of expectation for others.

i was going to pay the full amount and donate the rest but having second thoughts now. To much secrecy and if People are being asked to donate then they should be treated with a bit more respect then treated like mushrooms

Odd this. Who thought Fejiri would be at the club come August I wonder? Certainly not me.
Probably our most saleable asset, it was virtually certain he'd be sold, and not the only one either. Quite possibly these sales are in the "budget" Steve Thompson talked about at the fans meeting.
So did we get more than we expected or less? Bearing in mind that other clubs know our position, it wouldn't be a massive surprise if it was less TBH. Of course we could declare that and alert everyone there are bargains to be had or we could keep it undisclosed, leave then guessing.
Still our loyal fans will understand how tricky it all is to balance things won't they....
Yeah, right!

Some strange posts here.
Fejiri was perhaps our best player in the second half of the season. We’re desperate for cash and the board made it clear several times that anyone we could sell, would be sold.
If your season ticket depended on Fejiri’s future alone, firstly I dread to think what you may have felt back in February when 7 went at once and secondly I could have made the decision for you over a month ago - Fejiri was a wanted man from several teams, several leagues above. Whatever our financial situation, I doubt he would have been here.
I enjoyed Fey’s time with us, hope he goes on to do very well at Shrewsbury and get an even bigger move one day, for his sake and also for sell-on clause purposes. His two goals at Torquay will be up there with my favourites for some time I imagine.

Certainly the least surprising departure of the lot still left, we got a fee and he is off the wage bill. The ones we do have left are hardly fee commanding players and it’s trying to get someone to take them for free and pay their wages, this is the difficult part.

Missing the point Devon Dagger.
The minute the board put out the begging bowl is the minute they owed it to those buying in to this plan to be more open.
We are only hearing the downside of everything

Lets see how much has been gained in the £150k deficit. I guess any fees will go towards reducing the amount the club is looking to raise. At the last count was it around £42k ?
There was never a chance that Ferjiri would have started the coming season in our colours! Good news that he has gone into the EFL and we wont have to face him! At least he hasn't gone to a club not too far from us. Good luck for the future Ferjiri.
