Two awful teams go head to head here, just the 4 wins between them in the last 22 league games 1 for us in 11 games. Torquay have conceded 27 in that time but with us only scoring 11 in 11 and 6 in of those coming in one game will we still struggle in front of goal?

A defeat here would really be a disaster and leave the new manager with an uphill struggle, been saying it for weeks you can’t just turn this form around so simply. We need roughly 20 points maybe be less if it’s only 3 down, come on lads let’s do this.

Crazy in a kind of macabre way really looking forward to this, in a way if there's ever a game to define our season its this one. Just wish the Owners were here as do we raise our game, but lay in hope for this one because certainly second half in Kent we really saw a team that wanted it badly, and surely under a determined coaching staff and our bit on the terraces were push on slowly up. Torquay United are really up for this too and have their fans on their backs after what seems like a worse free fall than us, certainly think they're come well supported so we must raise the tones. My main concerned which if were perfectly honest has cost us heaps is Central forward roll and cracking the back of the net so hope they're working on it and even more frustrating to know our two ex's of Murphy and Cheek are this Divisions marksmen. Keep the momentum going guys must have faith. 2-1 to daggers.

Always a big game in the family this one but perhaps never more so than this time around.

First goal will be big I feel, when Torquay have conceded first they appear to be capitulating but scoring first they seem to kick on.

Any new manager has to deal with a majority of players that are simply not up to the challenge. That is the fault of previous recruitment. You cant make a silk purse... as the saying goes. IMO only half the current team are up for the fight.

Good point on the 3 down, had forgot about the Bury situation.

Confirmed only 1 down from Lge 2, so surely must be 3 down from NL, otherwise that makes it 4 down / 5 up..... how does that work !?!?!
