Tomorrow we face several former Daggers in what looks a very good contest. They have been up the top end for a few seasons so we will need to play well to get the three points. There is a potential very good start in the making with the next two fixtures after Bromley we can win so 3pts tomorrow sets us up really nicely. The new addition looked decent in pre season and nice to have cover. Shame about Balanta looks like another long term absence. Come on boys another win please! COYD!

In general the daggers have not got a bad record against Bromley especially at home but last season their good away record certainly pushed them into the play offs so there is caution to the wind but if we carry on where we left off with the latter 80 minutes of last Saturday's splendid performance I really can't see us not following through with another 3 points, and right its nice to see old dagger faces again too Bingham and Cousins did us proud, and can see a good game in store.

Something about these slow starts. I’ll take it if we get the 3 pets in the table.
I am so tired of the heat and humidity of the summers in the southeastern USA.

Let the Sieve and the atmosphere down with that ridiculous 2nd given away late on, but fantastic fight when behind again.

Will continue to say we are a defender light who can challenge in the air as I fear the worst every corner or free kick the opposition get... however, their right back aged 25 years in that first half against Vilhete, Walker is an absolute handful and Jones played like Kante today.

Thought Ling did enough to stay on but, fair play to the Boss... on comes Weston who looked 21 years of age and terrified Bromley.

On their side, thought Bingham liked decent but wouldn't take any of their players back and stick them in our squad... expected more of the front 3 but neither Dennis or Whiteley looked the part today.

Would love to see a replay of our equaliser as I was certain Cousins had it covered until it made its way in.

Onwards to Barnet... fairly confident we will have 12 out of 12 by next week

The positivity around the place is so good to see, great support and good to hear the sieve in fine voice. We look a confident, solid, team with the vital cutting edge. Weston was superb when he came on and solid performances all over the pitch. Must give McMahon credit for getting a group that are playing for the shirt, they seem to be fired up and believe in each other. Lovely to get away to a strong start, a rarity in recent times, and others will be noting our results and that we could be a force this time around - long may it continue. COYD!

First game I’ve been to for a long time and was very impressed. Possibly the best technical side we have ever had. Gone is the old John Still hoof ball. Vilhete terrorised their defence and Weston was superb when he came on. But Jones was awesome throughout and deservedly won man of the match.
Not getting too carried away yet, but we do look like title contenders 🤞

Splendid display again and quality to watch, even at two goals clear of the opponents we are a side now that still seems to want more and what a finish by Weston for that last one, pity a slight slip in the end of giving away a bit of a clumsy goal. When was the last time we had a great line up of this nature every player pushing upwards and even defenders wanting to score, lovely to watch and full marks to Daryl.

A great performance. Can’t work Bromley out, they played some good football but both of their goals were total giveaways by us. Can’t complain when we’re winning but we do need to switch on in defence at times.

Weston was outstanding today, made their left back look a fool from the moment he got the ball. Bring on Barnet!

What was so encouraging was we probably did not play as good as last week but still scored four goals against a side who will be in the top regions of the league at the end of the season. They were physically a very big side, who in the first half did not give as much time on the ball but the introduction of Weston made all the difference, so credit to the manager for making the change. Also Robinson is now this goalscoring machine in midfield as he seemed so confident in stroking his goal into the corner of the net. Seven goals in two games against good teams is an absolutely brilliant start.

A good performance against en enormous side. Once we started to play low balls across the box and getting in round the back of them, we looked like scoring a hatful.

The ref booking McCallum for trying to keep the ball from going for a goal kick was pathetic. Also, the ref was giving us the hurry up to take throw ins, but at the same time allowing them to get Bush to run from one side of the pitch to the other to take long throw ins - isn’t that also delaying the restart?

Another solid and impressive performance, as pointed out they were a huge side and scored from a set piece which is the only downfall. I thought we played much better at Stockport yet still could have score a few more yesterday. Our play in tight positions is brilliant, the one and two touch football from our technical players like Vilhete and Sagaf is a joy to watch and the giants of Brom couldn’t live with it.

Full credit to the manager for the sub of Weston it gave them a massive worry, Ling did nothing wrong we just needed that little bit more going forward and Dennis could not track Weston with his cramp and went off shortly after. Weston is class want an option to have from the bench or to start, think this is the difference to last season we now have options although we now look light upfront with Balanta, Wilson and now possible Walker injured hopefully that was just cramp.

The bookings we go were no worse than some of their tackles that went unpunished. Walker dragged back when he turned a defender no foul, not sure the free kick they score from was actually a foul.

A superb exhibition of blistering attacking football elevated the Daggers to the summit of the division as they maintained their impressive start to the season.

The substution of Ling for Weston, won us the game for sure, and fair to say most people in the ground were not overly impressed to see Ling's number go up on the board, but fair play to McMahon, it worked brilliantly.

This team is going to score lots of goals this season, as we have so many threats now going forward, but agree with others that we are a decent Onariase type CB off being real title challengers.

Our best defender from set pieces yesterday, and many other games in the last year, was McCallum, which is surely not the plan.

Overall though, a great win, and 6 pts from 2 playoff teams last season.

Hoping for a decent Daggers turn out tommow, at the Edgware Leisure Centre Complex, and 3 more precious points.

I disagree I feel we are title challengers, we have pace, which teams don't like, but we do need CB reinforcements

Listening to the commentary on Saturday, was really pleased to hear us have plenty of attacking threat & ambition going forwards.

Sounded a cracking performance all in all - hopefully the boys will carry this on over the coming games..

C'mon you Daggers!! :thumbu:
