The only decent thing the FA have done in the last few years is to create the play off's, most of the time very exciting for not only their fans but neutrals too. Our English League should be left untouched, other than the premiership that has been highly exploited, leave the lower ranks to the fans of the game who love roots football and non prawn sandwich!

Football isn't about community run clubs anymore, it's about the billionaires and their obscene money. The fact is there is a growing number of Sky Sports subscribing armchair pundits to whom football is nothing more than a Sunday afternoon soap opera. These people who pay their tv subscriptions and wear replica shirts are going to be the voices that are heard and there won't be a thing we can do to stop it. Whose opinion will count more, a few thousand Daggers or the millions of fake Mancs, Scousers et al who will argue that it benefits them? There won't be a backlash from it if it goes ahead.

It sickens me but we are powerless to stop it.

Sadly, I worry that you might be spot on with this.

So we become the Dagenham Gunners (or Spurs/Hammers etc) and we get to watch the not quite ready talent from Arsenal (Tottenham or West Ham) play for us every week, until they get good when they are gone - a bit like now really.
The Dagenham Spurs?

*shudder*

Pretty close...

"Dyke has proposed SLPs, Strategic Loan Partnerships, a new system which would effectively lead to feeder clubs by allowing wealthy clubs to place eight players in two clubs in League One or Two."

Not sure if BBC 5 Live do podcasts etc, but if you have the chance, make sure you listen to Steve Claridge tear Danny Mills a new one about this. Great stuff.

Only ones that haven't been consulted about this change are the fans seemingly...

Excuse me for asking but who the hell allowed a failed Director General of the BBC who took away from the kids and a few adults, Dr Who , and gave them Roland Rat the authority to investigate such matters.

If its a choice of Accrington Stanley away on a dark wet Friday Night or Fulham never will be on a Saturday give me good old Stanley every time.

Go back to your Tv Studios Mr Dyke and stick your proposal's right up your arris.

For what it's worth The Football Conference (a party that these changes would also directly affect) weren't consulted on any of this either.
