Take whatever anyone thinks of the paper out of the equation. He knowingly met a group to discuss how to bend and dodge football law and put down his employers while he was there, he even flew to Asia for the meeting so hardly like it was a moment of madness. In most workplaces that would get you sacked.

And still managed to walk away with a nice bung. I expect a new book to come out soon and another big pay day for Sam. Only in football eh.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer *****. As the old saying goes, if he was made of chocolate he'd eat himself.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that after the first math he was so fed up, he set himself up, so that he could walk away with £1 million.
