Thoughts on England Squad? How aint Deeney in the Squad???

Totally uninspiring as usual. But then there isn't a great deal of choice. Rooney been dropped by his club but still in. Glen Johnson is a blast from the past too! And only 3 natural centre mids.

I'd have picked Drinkwater, Deeney, Danny Simpson.

Because Deeney is actually pretty crap. He's just flavour of the month, the new Mark Noble.

Yep, it makes no sense to pick players that are currently showing a bit of form for their clubs when we can keep picking the same players regardless of how well they're playing.

I`ve given up wondering how they pick our squad.One day a manager will have the guts and dump all the Rooney`s etc. and pick a group of youngsters who want to play for England.
