Its been plain to see for some time now that the lad (at the moment at least) is way out of his depth, both physically and confidence-wise for this league. Despite the platitudes of the Hornchurch manager, Mark Stimson, when we signed him, he has not developed into the player we require at this present time. Understand that last season with the leagues beneath ourselves not playing, we could not put him out on loan, but obviously now we can and he needs to drop down a league or two, to become a more rounded player. Particular attention needs to be made of his tracking-back defensive aspects of his game. His was particularly highlighted last Saturday when we conceded the goal at Kings Lynn.

Hopefully with more senior, experienced players now becoming available after injury, we can manage without him for a while.

Agree on physicality as he's a bit lightweight and we've already seen that exposed a few times. However, there's also no disputing that he's a talented player with lots of potential, as highlighted by his clever run and finish against Wealdstone, plus his hooked assist against King's Lynn. If he bulks up then he could become a real asset for us,

Agree with Joel, it’s his first proper season infrontt of real crowds for his own team. Needs to work on his defence side but going forward he is an asset for us, lut in two superb crosses yesterday one was a foul on McCallum should have been a pen and the other one now player gambled. He’s still young and will only get better. Will Wright was never good enough according to some now he’s the first on the team sheet at the back, give George a chance.

I think the trouble is that he's a winger being asked to play wing back. He's never had to defend in his life probably. He makes a lot of mistakes but he's not had a chance to settle into the level yet. Probably a stint in the division below might do him some good once everyone is fit.
