Very sad news of the passing of Marvin Morgan at the young age of 38.

Tragic news and certainly no age .

As I have seen a lot of games at Hornchurch in recent years when the Daggers are playing away (although not so far this season), I saw him play first against the Urchins and then for them a few times.

It brought it all back about the game at Leyton Orient which I will always remember. We led from about the 12th minute and when Marvin Morgan came on in the second half he missed a sitter at full stretch which would have made it 2-0. Late in the game we conceded a dodgy penalty and, so, it ended 1-1.

So, that's what I remember him for and it cost us 2 points and would have been the difference between staying up and getting relegated back to L2. Obviously, there were many other games where we dropped points but that was the one etched on my memory because we led the match for so long and it was definitely 2 point dropped.

However, shocked to hear of his passing at such a young age.
