I would've took a draw before this one - even more so after going a couple down with less than 15mins gone..

Good comeback going by the write-up https://daggers.co.uk/news/-MsudWvVa01LA_1OqjRB - Balanta's goal in particular sounds a peach..

C'mon you Daggers :thumbu:

A point down there is always decent, especially given a very poor start. Two big home games to come against Halifax and Stockport this month. We are genuinely in with a play off shout for sure especially with lots of the players now fit. Nice for McMahon to have selection choices to ponder. It’s good too that we can set up in a range of ways as the challenges are not the same each week. COYD!

I think we have to beat Weymouth and one of Stockport or Halifax. Good point in the end today but another worrying start.

Well it only took 18 seconds to see why we will more then likely be playing at this level again next season.

Said at the start of the season that you need 70 goals and 15 clean sheets .

At the seasons end the attacking players we will be able to proudly say well we did our bit.

What a day that turned out! half one have we got a match here? Absolutely bucking it down, yes, in the ground memories of the Old Baseball ground puddles everywhere, kick off, what a couple of blinks, 20 seconds in were a goal down and more importantly will a sane ref let this game go on, very difficult for all players but amazingly it started mellowing out and the players were adapting to conditions far better then behold were bleeding 2 down ! But hey Dagenham don't do things easy the old earlier season syndrome started kicking in were fighting back and pushing forwards again and looking a real threat and just at a great time before the oranges Josh Walkers wraps it in nicely, game on! Second half and a fair percentage of it our boys were well in there firing at all areas and angles, out far, wings and we knew surely it was coming? Torquay's goalie made a number of really good saves, a highly noted, real class diving save to his left was up there as one hell of a save, but at last, up pops Angelo slips his marker and a lovely curler right into his top left hand corner, and a minute or two from the end another Angelo rocket where did their defender come from to pull that one off target?
After a well dodgy start really deserved to take the other two points and a celebratory drink in their Boots and laces club after many yellow fans agreed we should have got the game sown up! Nice warm up for Halifax and Stockport County games I hope!

Testament to our spirit that we'll be a little bit disappointed not to have won a game in which we were two down after ten minutes. Horrendous start but we really responded well from the half hour mark onwards and exerted a level of unrelenting domination that ought to have got us all three points. In the circumstances though, can't overly complain with one.

Postponements elsewhere across the division meant an in-form Daggers headed into the picturesque English Riviera with the incentive of potentially moving third albeit having played more games than several other contenders; though they were ultimately unable to do so, a battling point - earned through goals from reliable duo Josh Walker and Ángelo Balanta - more than sufficed within the circumstances of being two goals behind after just twelve minutes.

Only just caught up with the highlights of this one online, but what a game... Shocking start and, as has been mentioned the defending of crosses all season way well be the reason we finish top ten but outside of the Playoffs come May.

Amazed watching the highlights, even knowing the score beforehand that we didn't come back to win in the second half... great battling from the midfield and front three.

Found myself shouting twice on the highlights for a penalty that I knew we didn't get and was equally certain their one would be given towards the end of the match after we failed to clear. All 3 looked fairly nailed on.

Let's see how we get on with the next 3 or 4... need to find a way to keep a clean sheet, or at least be level going in to half time to build a platform
