Agreed. Whilst no doubt the fans and players alike would have had a great day out. Imagine if the game was held at a neutral location with a smaller capacity. Wembley is always special, but I feel like a heightened atmosphere is what would really take the game/league to the next level.AVincelotFlyingLeap wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2024 11:15 pm Hot take to say this game doesn’t need to be at Wembley and therefore the season doesn’t need to finish as early as the end of April ? Only 22,000 there today, could easily have had it at like, I dunno Villa park or West Brom or somewhere
Play Offs
Went to the Wembley game yesterday and agree with the post why twin towers? Firstly say that regarding game think Bromley just about edged it and certainly can't take away what credit the Moors deserve in getting to not only two Non League finals in less than a week but have been up on the summit nearly all season and amazingly with a first season to a Manager with virtually no experience of Step 1 in Andy Whing. The moving up to Wembley Way was something that was certainly a new experience to me, with modern day very PC, Woke and just about everything else involved. Must have been a thousand stewards and Police combined in rows of around 30 or so about every 50 yards and we had Police on push bikes in line too, didn't feel an helicopter overhead though, to a crowd of 24,000? Must say being in Club Wembley certainly found the staff inside very friendly and helpful and pluses tea/coffee and pies not much dearer than Dagenham! Forget booze at nearly everywhere £8 a pint plastic of course and head up North Jubilee line for pre ale good deals like Spoons KIngsbury. Suppose a tenner match ticket especially in Club Wembley and meeting a fair few daggers was an added tonic, well done to Bromley and Moors fans who were very well behaved but do think Wembley has lost its sparkle they're pricing out the real football fan!

Maybe if you played the south, north and National League finals on the same day Wembley might make sense?
