Development game today

All our fringe players started a competitive game against Colchester United's development team at Tiptree this afternoon.
Are Yussuff played till half time and Christian Doidige for an hour.
Both worked hard but look a bit raw and lack composure in the box.
Ian Gayle and Frankie Raymond looked strong as did Josh Labadie and Daggers dominated until we made wholesale changes in the last 20 when Colchester came back into it.
Lewis Moody had a good game in goal and commanded the area. Although not the tallest he's strong in the air and catches crosses well even under pressure
Dan Carr and Jodi Jones played the full 90 minutes with Jones being given free range in the last 20
Two trialist defenders looked like they could be decent players given a run of games

Score? Did we start Jones out wide? From his shot the other day i'm interested to see how he would play in a 'Medy' sort of role where we give him freedom to go wide or inside

Jones was out wide until given a free role late on as he was getting on the ball trying to set things up
