But lets be honest he does need to show he's still England No.1. And the main reason that butland, Heaton and Pickford have got themselves into the mix is because the teams that they play for naturally will keep them more alert and will enhance their performance IMO. If this move happens it will be good to see whether he still gets first selection from southgate or will continue to rotate which has been the case recently. But it would probably be a good move for west ham though it's a position they have needed to strengthen for some time.
