Hurricane Kirk October 2024

I assume your weather folks will keep you updated but Hurricane Kirk is heading your way. It will be a tropical storm but that can still pack a punch as evidence by the 20 inches and more of rain in my area of the world.
It was tracking right through the Channel yesterday but is now tracking a bit south and on the northern coast of France.
The British Isles have had a few of these before so nothing terribly new but with warmer air, and the Atlantic is still very warm, there is going to be a lot more water in the air and that means more rain and potential for flooding.
You can keep up with the track it is taking at nhc.noaa.gov
