The decision of who the Manager is Mike is not mine to make.

As to support , well I will continue to make every game home and away when Personal commitments allow, I will do that weather we are playing Whitehawk or Everton.

I will turn up home and away whenever possible weather we are 3rd bottom or third top.

By those very actions I think that I am rightfully or wrongly showing him support.

If he was to turn it in today then his successor would get the same support from me , if that is what it is.

It won't however stop me having an opinion

Think other People's expectations are obviously a lot higher then mine.

Daggers fans Enemy no 1 was set a target to keep Football league status.

This was set by Daggers fans enemy no 2 who has repeatedly said survival is tge first target .

Now the target set by no 2 has been met by no 1 on each and every occasion.

So in effect he is doing ok , his methods of getting to that target have at time left me puzzled both In Tactics and personnel he has recruited .

Long before a ball was kicked this season I said on record that this was going to be the most difficult season we faced since we have come back to this level.

If I fully expected to see what has materialised then I can hardly complain when that realisation comes to be.

It's not my fault that some of my fellow Daggers live in a fantasy World and let's face it we are only 10 points away from where even the most optimistic Of the deluded expected us to be at this stage of the season.

That said even those of us who live in the real world are dissappointed at the way we have repeatedly caused our own downfall on so many occassions this season.

Okaaaaay!

Half the teams in this league probably set a minimum target of "staying in the league". They don't all go 8 months between home wins though. I'd be happy with 22nd if the team entertained a bit, had a clue tactically and looked like it gave a toss. The odd win in front of its own fans might be nice too.

The club is killing itself by serving up such dire fare, people are dribbling away and all that was hard won in terms of fan engagement and loyalty is being chucked away.

This isn't new, its been happening for a long time now.

I live 100% in the real world. I'd say its anyone that thinks what is happening now is in any way acceptable that are in the fantasy world.

Sussex, the generally accepted target for staying up is 50 points. 21/46 x 50 is 23 (to the nearest point). We are 10 points off of even that pace!

I think that the most optimistic were aiming for a bit higher than scraping 50 points.

Despite what I said in my orevious post

Home form is unacceptable

Attitude of some of the players at times has been questionable

Tatics adopted at times head scratching.

To be honest Sussex, whichever way we dress it up, it's been an unacceptable season. Form in general has been shit, not just at home. We've stolen 2 away wins in the league, and I think stolen is an accurate assessment of them victories. Let's not forget how dire some of our away displays have been as well (Barnet and Accy just to name two). So it's not just the home form.

Player recruitment has been appalling. Nyron Nosworthy has to be one of the worst signings we've ever made. An absolute donkey of a player who is well past it. A close 2nd worst CB to Exodus.

I could go on but it's well documented. The season has been a shambles and if we escape relegation we are a very lucky bunch.

From todays Independent:

That football was too good for League Two Dagenham for long spells in the first game, even though Whitehawk needed an injury-time equaliser to force the replay, but King is wary of suggestions that they have done the hard part of the job. “Their manager [Wayne Burnett] makes us favourites but I don’t see that,” he said. “The bottom line is that we’re a Conference South side, they’re a League Two side.

I'll offer whitehawk a swap, our manager for their manager.

Even tho he comes across as a knob - or as on here a NOB ;)

Wayne is in the job to motivate our players, not Whitehawks! Bigging up the opposition is not going to do that surely? Maybe he was getting in early with the excuses because he feels we are going to lose anyway?
