Might be a tougher one than expected today - they had a cracking win at Gateshead in the week.

Perhaps a little 2-1 win - Hawkins & Benno

Well if Benson was brought in to teach Players like Hawkis then don't hang your boots up yet PAUL.

He should have had another hatrick today if not two. How the hell we only won two nil.

Yet another Goalkeeper is arguably the opposistion a best player.

Ok the opposistion was not much but some of our Football was a joy to watch, surely after chance after chance went begging Benno must have been pleading to get on.

Top of The league , we can't ask for more then that .

Well done lads

First half we were excellent, but just couldn't stop hitting their players.
I almost felt sorry for their left back as he was getting no help with JMD and Widdowson, and occasionally Whitely.
Second half was tougher , but we rode it out and got the second.

Two clean sheets in a row with only one of our first choice back four starting in their normal position isn't too shabby.
I thought Raymond did a good job at left back - he looked less likely to get something wrong than Widdowson has. That said, I thought Widdowson did a better job as right back than he does on the left. He got forward really well at times, just a shame that his final ball was rubbish.

Thought we over complicated it too often today. Simple football for both goals but it was almost so easy at times that our players wanted 5 touches when 2 was enough. If we'd left a bit more of the showboat at home I think we'd have scored 6.

A win is a win and great to be top of the pile even though it'll be tough to stay there. Think Ferriby are in for a relegation battle.

They're keeper was great today. If we were allowed to vote for them he surely would have won MOTM. Some quality saves and couldn't half whack a ball far for a skinny fella. Anyone know how old he was? Would be surprised if he was a day over 21.

20 I think. Save from Hawkins first half was good.

Not even arguably, only home game I've missed this season was Boreham Wood, but in every other game the keeper has been the oppositions best player, we're really having to work for out goals!

He was not to shabby either Tommy .

Whilst we are on about Goalkeepers ours should come in for some praise .

There was a good save by him at one nil when the second goal would not come. Ok you would expect him to save it but with the way we were dominating it is easy to lose concentration. We are fortunate to have two quality Goalkeepers for this level.

Big game next week , a win would be nice to carry us into October when we will have our metal tested . If we are stil up there after that the. We can all start getting a bit excited

After losing their manager and a big chunk of their squad pre season, I think it's clear to see North Ferriby are a team whose ability is below this division really. Solid job by us. It's quite nice being one of the big boys in the league.

Now the hard games start. Bromley are better than their league position suggests. They've had a hard start looking at their fixture list. Hopefully Bradley Goldberg doesn't come back to bite us.

So from those of you who've seen the side play over the last month or so: Are w good enough to stay at the top or are we bound to have a nose bleed andfall off the perch?

For all the 3 games we've lost so far this year, should we have gotten something out of those games? Or were we wellbeaten at Chester, and Sutton and at home by Boreham?

Yeah agreed, he made 4 or 5 very good saves for them. And Justham had been very good this season. Good handling, makes good decisions and 9 times out of 10 his kicking is spot on.

Can't complain on that and amazed it stayed 1-0 till 5 minutes or so to end, one thing which was a strong comment after match in top bar the standard of goalkeeping in Step 1 has been really good, and our's saved our bacon at a critical time with that superb left hand save that no doubt was going in, Ferriby upped the gear quite well second period and that moment could have changed the outcome. Think Frankie's got a full time slot now at left-back, doing a fine job. What better weekend out there with daggers riding top!
