Just cannot score. Cheek heads against their defender's back and why Fejiri doesn't shoot at the end is beyond me.
Nice to see some urgency but it was too little too late - first half there were too many passengers.
Get the sense that once we get one goal we'll get a hatful

If our forwards had any confidence then that tie would have been ours. We got in good attacking positions in the second half too just no finish. Cheek looked decent I thought. Ferrier is like a non league baz savage, can do everything up front but score.

Cheeks header, morgans shot tipped over. And how that dirty bastard stayed on with that tackle on Morgan defies belief!
The ref was scandalous their centre half practically tore the shirt off Morgan's back and didn't get anything.
Feji looked like bamby and Howell was dreadful.
Motm Ferrier never stopped trying and Doey had a good game too.
Make the most of it orient, you're tactics and your support are shit.

Amazed we didnt score during that last 20 or so mins BUT we couldnt manage a single goal in 180 minutes against a team who had managed 2 points from 21 in the league - and therefore deserved to bow out.
Great to have cheek back - much needed as Whitely looks completely shot at the mo.
By the way - what the ****** did our players have on their feet today coz I recall around a dozen occasions the players slipped and fell on their arse.

Its becoming a farce mate , you are right about the times our players slipped up and each time it looked in an advantageous position.dagger4eva wrote:Amazed we didnt score during that last 20 or so mins BUT we couldnt manage a single goal in 180 minutes against a team who had managed 2 points from 21 in the league - and therefore deserved to bow out.

Getting back to the game absolute shocking first half, again just hoofing it up top hoping that we would get something out the percentage call. In reality because the opposition was poor it made us look better then we really were second half but at least we tried to go about it the right way, sadly we could not hit an Elephants arse with a cricket bat at the moment , one or two of the near misses were unfortunate but lets not hide from the truth we witnessed some shocking misses tonight.
Still having flashbacks to the goal, the bloke walked through us and squared it for his mate to tap in.
We got what we deserved nothing.

See my comments on the last two games exactly the same, no end product.
Yet another away game and yet another with no return. Two massive games coming up and we need to win both because we can't win away.
Great support shame the players never turned up until the 60th minute.

unlucky lads, listening to it, sounded like we threw the kitchen sink last 20 mins, goal mouth scrambles and kept hearing Grainger make save after save.

Can't say we were unlucky. All those chances and not to put any away is criminal.
Chance after chance went begging .
Ok their Keeper did well but we do not halfake it easy for him

Have to agree with the comments on here... just we played OK in both games, yes we created chances but ultimately we scored 0 goals over two games... no teams deserves to progress through a Cup competition domestically without a goal in two games.
Didn’t make the game last night but we’re clearly in a real bit of trouble at the front of the pitch. Only one goal scored in our last 4 games and Ling’s goal was by the skin of our teeth. Then when you look at the 11 games since Cheek has been injured, there have arguably been only two/three games where we have performed to our attacking potential. Yes we’ve had injuries, but it’s hard to accept that as an excuse seeing as at the start of the season we all believed that our squad was one of the deepest and best in the league. And you can only say “the keeper’s had a blinder” so many times until it seems like we have just underestimated the standard of keepers in this league.
It’s good to have Cheek back, hopefully this will all change now. But we need to be better prepared for if he gets injured again.

Don't think their Keeper had a blinder with all due respect , we lost because we did not convert the chances we created, one of those "blinding saves" was shot straight at him then we had at least five other golden opportunities.NBDag wrote:Didn’t make the game last night but we’re clearly in a real bit of trouble at the front of the pitch. .
like : Just before half time when Whiteley stole the ball Ferrier turned the Centre half and blazed over
Five minutes into second half when we created space and Okenberie put it wide
The supposedly good save blasted straight at him again by Okenberie when either side surely scores
The ball that ran along the six yard just waiting for somebody to put it in.
The cross to the far post that Ferrier did not even jump for.
Then the last minute when the ball is taken of the boot before we get a shot away when there appeared ample time to do so.
There was a host of other half chances we squandered, so even if you think the keeper had a good game the fact remains he should have been on the end of a hiding.
Worrying thing is how can you drop Players who have created so much , we could do that and find ourselves in a worse scenario. The only thing we should be concentrating on is how to bloody finish
Wasn’t specifically referring to that game, as you can see my first sentence was that I wasn’t there. I was tying that excuse that’s been used in countless other matches into the fact that yet again we have been shite in front of goal and it’s getting inexcusable.
