One thing I find a little conflicting is that the article in the Evening Standard seemed to suggest we had already secured the £250k.
In this interview (and I dont know when it was recorded) suggests we still need to find the 250.
Certainly good to know there are 3 potential parties with a serious interest and as he mentions, if they are going to have representitives at the game saturday, we better had try to show them what a great club we do still have and it is very much worth saving!

I wouldn't necessarily describe myself as a fan of Thommo but i thought he came across relatively well in the interview.
I think it's important that he said about his willingness to move on if it's the case that someone else wants to come in. In essence, either way I think the club would benefit from a clear out of the current crop and start again.
No one will come out of this debacle as a winner. We are up shit creek without a paddle.
What upsets me the most is the way that it just seems like we are sleepwalking towards that cliff edge and in a few weeks time it will be all over. To an outsider, there seems to be no fight and the West Ham game aside, a hashtag isn't going to save anything.
People aren't going to leave their homes in their droves to watch Saturdays or any of the last 8 or 9 games because of #savethedaggers - has it worked? Clearly not. We are about 10 years behind the rest of the technological world in terms of commercialism and even in what he talks about in this interview.
So, so disappointed in the club with allowing us to die this way.
With regards to Glyn, people will always forget the good stuff you do, but remember the one bad thing you did. He's flushed away 20 odd years of good community work and building his businesses with this one hammer blow. Whatever his reasons, he has royally ****** us. We don't need to do the debate again over him, but surely common sense should prevail and the main contributors to this absolute shit show need to sort this out. There is still time to try surely. Whatever's been has been, it's time to grow up now.
If being right or seen to be the one in the right over a flimsy piece of material is the be all and end all of life; then perhaps priorities need to be reviewed - clearly this football club isn't one of them. We're sick to death with this argument.
If not and the worst happens, thank you D&RFC for some of the best moments I've experienced in the last 20 years.

I think they got the 250K to get through to end of season, but because of contractual obligations on salaries they need another 200K till end of June.dagger4eva wrote: ↑Fri Apr 20, 2018 9:32 am One thing I find a little conflicting is that the article in the Evening Standard seemed to suggest we had already secured the £250k.

Wish we had more light on our club's status but somehow got to keep the faith, tell u what though there was some beautiful gleaming silver type Bentley parked close to the club noticed after the game and never seen before maybe there is some shining light and fingers crossed could come out trumps? Lovely gathering after game in club. well done all.
I didn't want to leave it in pondfield road.

I might be and probably am missing something but the numbers being talked about in total to see us through (the shortfall) was around 250k.Dagger42 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 20, 2018 8:29 pmI think they got the 250K to get through to end of season, but because of contractual obligations on salaries they need another 200K till end of June.dagger4eva wrote: ↑Fri Apr 20, 2018 9:32 am One thing I find a little conflicting is that the article in the Evening Standard seemed to suggest we had already secured the £250k.

The above seems to suggest we needed 250k+200k - so a 450k shortfall??
Further, I doubt its true but a couple of different people yesterday reckoned they had seen Tamplins right hand man, Dan 'over zealous employee' Groves at the game...
Anyone else hear this and/or see him?

Re- silver Bentley have been asked to clarify it belongs to a committee members friend who has come along a few times to watch the Daggers.Dagdale wrote: ↑Sun Apr 22, 2018 1:13 pm Wish we had more light on our club's status but somehow got to keep the faith, tell u what though there was some beautiful gleaming silver type Bentley parked close to the club noticed after the game and never seen before maybe there is some shining light and fingers crossed could come out trumps?
