From the daggers newsletter:

Twerk ‘N’ Jerk arrive at Victoria Road
We are thrilled to officially announce our partnership with Twerk ’N’ Jerk, an exciting new addition to the food line-up at Victoria Road. Known for its bold Caribbean flavours and modern street food flair, Twerk ’N’ Jerk is more than just a caterer — it’s a movement. Founded by South London chef Tyron, the brand has gained national recognition for reinventing Caribbean cuisine with a vibrant twist, combining heritage dishes with international influence and street-style energy.

From humble beginnings in a back garden, Twerk ’N’ Jerk has grown into a cultural food brand with residencies, festival appearances, and accolades under its belt — and now, we're proud to welcome them to the Dagenham & Redbridge FC family.

Their menu will bring a dynamic, fresh option to the stadium — from jerk chicken wraps to plantain bowls and island-inspired specials — and will sit proudly alongside our much-loved Julie’s Tea Bar. We’re excited to diversify the matchday experience and offer all our fans, staff, and visitors even more choice from the stands.

Be sure to visit the Twerk ’N’ Jerk kiosk on your next visit to Victoria Road and experience the flavours everyone’s talking about.

Any thoughts?

Twerp and jerk would have summed up King and Hall last season!

But an alternative to the dross that is served up by “Julie’s” is overdue and welcome, let’s hope we can have a bar in the seive to wash down the spicy food with a beer

Pretty glad to see this, something very needed and different to other clubs offerings. Their restaurant menu isn’t that expensive… £8.50 for a burrito or £12.50 for some chicken and rice. Have you not realised how much we are already paying for a rat burger?

No doubt it will be a modified menu for us anyway as people will only be able to eat on the go. Looking forward to trying it and not being nailed to the bog for all of halftime

Yeah, that is a valid point to be honest. I mean… the twerkie fries that they sell for £5 is quite expensive in my opinion.

I think our plain chips are already £3.50/£4? Don’t hold me to that but I think it’s around that

The prices went through the roof for Julie’s a couple of seasons back, tea l£3 for what is a shit tea bag and some water, disgrace. The burgers are like rubber yet the same price as top end butchers burger, assuming they have a contract for a certain amount of years and if they don’t revamp their offering they should be shown the door. Times change and we’ve not moved with it off the pitch.

Let’s face it the chips served at Julie’s are just cheap frozen ones that are fried in old oil, wonder how often it gets changed, Rat burgers are frankly disgusting, must be a 95% mark up on this cheap fodder, as far as twerk and jerk goes I’m happy to pay a higher price if the quality is there but it’s going to be tough for them to maintain a presence if it isn’t.
