Having lost at Hornchurch and our faint hopes of getting into the playoffs seemingly over, we entertain a team who could still make the top seven.
We have been missing Joe Haigh for a couple of weeks through injury and hope he has now recovered and in the squad as he makes such a vast difference to our attacking play.

Can barely be bothered with this now. Just want the season to be over.

Absolutely this. This season has been an abomination and I can't wait for it to be over.

If you’re Joe Haigh why would you rush yourself back from an injury with nothing to play for and you’re out of contract with possible offers to play higher?

They’ll probably batter us, our rabble of pathetic full time professionals didn’t have the stomach for Friday and certainly won’t have the stomach for it now the season is definitely over, even though it was over in September.

Relegation hurt last year but this season tops it for me, let’s hope the new board pick the right manager and soon, we need the momentum of the takeover to keep rolling.

As DTD says, last season’s relegation was a bitter pill to swallow and the reaction from the club wasn’t what I expected as far as pushing for an immediate return to the national league, I didn’t renew my season ticket for this year and definitely won’t be getting one for next season, The performance at Hornchurch on Friday was nothing short of a disgrace and I left so disappointed with the effort put in on the pitch, so with no trains and an expected defeat Im not going to waste my time going today.

A poor first half where we could have been losing by more than one goal. Second half big improvement to go 3-1 up and despite Chelmsford going down to ten men seem to sit back and ended up only drawing when we should have won the game comfortably.

Shit first half. Was never a penalty. Criminal to give away 2 goals to 10 men. This season has been a disgrace.

Got stuck in traffic coming back from the coast so couldn’t make it, shame. Watched online and it was dreadful, bar a 25 min spell Chelmsford were far better in terms of quality, to throw it away like that shows these players are not good enough, good riddance.

What’s the actual plan for next season? Lots of noise but I’ve not heard an actual plan because if we’re keeping a similar budget and staying full time expect more of the same.
