I've been a fan of this fine club for well over 25 years now, and in that time there has been some almighty highs (will always remember that day in Wembley, and some almighty lows)

Now, there has been some almighty changes in the past 8 months, yet this could possibly one of the most promising preseasons I've seen.

Both on and off the field we've seen a tremendous turnaround from the club, the engagement has improved vastly and this is a welcome change, plus we appear to have made some solid signings.

Really looking forward to this season now. Bring it on!

Slightly concerned so far about how we are defending against quick, counter attacking teams who can get the ball out wide... A poor opposition could have had a few today, and Hashtag had us scrambling a couple of times last week...

However, we look like a fabulous attacking unit already, although Tuesday might be the first real test of quality in the squad... Coppin, Thomas, Critchlow and Papadopulous (when fit) have scared the opposition to death this month and the trialist today Clayden was bright.

No idea how we go with a number 9 this season as it feels like we play a different game in to Leech or Rodari than we do with Carroll so it may be difficult to manage that, but a great problem to have... Pre season goals from almost a whole XI of starters so far

Agreed goals from multiple players but vulnerable on the counter attack.

First pre-season game I have seen and considering number of players missing was very impressed. I have to say the standout player was Archie Tamplin who was outstanding in midfield. Will have to wait and see how we get on once the league games start but cautiously optimistic that Lee Allinson has assembled a good squad together.

Amazing player, but no idea how many games we lose him for during the season to yellow or red cards 😂 went in for every single tackle yesterday like it was the 90th minute of an FA Cup final and we're 1-0 up

I’ve heard he has picked up red cards before playing for Chelmsford so you could be right there.
