I see both points.
Adrian's point about Cureton is valid but extreme. Without Cureton, we'd have had a different striker who most likely wouldn't have scored as many but would have scored in places and helped us pick up points along the way. We'd have been a good few points fewer off without him though and more in the relegation battle.
Cousins has been superb but I feel we're highlighting that more because of the contrast between him and O'Brien. Doe and Ayo have both had excellent half seasons. Neither were here during the first half of the season, the real Doe wasn't anyway. Others like Bingham and Widdowson have also done superbly in this timeframe.
But over the course of the season, there has been one constant who has led the line and been a bright spark even during our toughest moments. And so without any doubt really, Cureton should be our POTS.
