Sad it's ended like this for Ben. Obviously a well meaning bloke and a fans favourite. But sitting up in my perch the last 2 seasons has largely been a grim experience. Side to side football with more passing back than forwards has been a hard watch for me. With the exception of the Wimbledon and Gateshead games . Late substitutions or no substitutions at all when already 2 goals behind and losing from winning positions . It's been largely shit. I preferred McMahon and Burnett. In fact Taylor had sod all to work with and would have done better with this lot.
I'll get me coat and disappear for another 6 months now.

You are kidding me? That is shameful behaviour and definitely not the image a ‘family club’ who is desperate to attract new fans should be projecting.

If this is true, I wonder if Ben realises he might have a legal case because of the way this was done.

If you had any doubts over the legitimacy of these rumours, I would go on Ben Strevens’ LinkedIn profile. Made an interesting post on the matter yesterday that paints yet another ugly picture to add to the gallery of Club Underdog ****** ups.

Can somebody give Ben a call, we were poor under him in his last few games but we weren’t feckin useless!
