I presume DTD your comment was being mischievous rather than serious? We are 2 points above the bottom 4 teams and 4 points blow the play off positions with 39 matches to play. Dover would have been in 5th position if they had won tonight. We have not the best of starts but it is early days. A win on Saturday, the
injured players returning and in a play off position by November ST should still fall on his sword irrespective of the results this season.

I think you will find we have been "just below the playoff positions" for about..... 7 years now.
And that's 1 win in 7 games, having played 6 part time teams, correct ??.

I take your point but I didn’t say there was nothing to worry about I was responding to a comment that we were going down. Am I happy with our position ? no. 5th The table shows that the 5th place team has only won 3 games. It’s very early in the season that’s the point I was making . If results remain poor and we are close to the bottom then by Xmas a change of management could be considered . Not that I particularly like changing managers every 5 minutes. It hasn’t worked over recent years . My other point was that a fish rots from the head ( and I don’t intend that to be disrespectful to ST ) . The decline of the club strongly suggests that there needs there to be a changing of the guard at the top . I hope ST makes that decision himself and soon.
