That is a valid point, to be honest. But in my opinion, I believed they have pulled out, due to dagenham now being essentially worthless - or the current custodians being useless when negotiatingDiggerthedog wrote: Sun Sep 28, 2025 10:56 am How long did it take Newcastles owners to take over, a very long time and who knows who these ‘Qatari’ investors are which might lead to delays. Just guessing at the length of the delay, the way Hall was kicked into touch by Club underdog it might be him dragging his heels on this as last little dig, who knows.
As I said earlier a club statement is required and quickly or this will end up turning into last season’s tinderbox.

I have no reason to believe that the OP is not genuine in which case nobody has picked up on the comment about this 'useless manager'. If that is what the players think of him (and he does look pretty clueless so far) then no wonder the team are such a shambles.

I've been following this club for over 20 years now, I've seen the highs of a playoff final as well numerous away days around the country. Yet it seems for the past 10 years we've seen a downward turn on our club. We've had overseas investment from The States which at the time was enjoyable, we had players that knew what it meant to be a Dagger, and it was a joy to watch them play at Victoria Road.
However, with the news that Trinity Sports holding were looking to sell on and we were told a trusted custodian of our club, I did fear the worst.
Yet in walked Club Underdog and I, at the time, like I think a lot of us did, had high hopes. We could see what they did with clubs in Italy and we looked forward to what we hoped was to come.
However, it soon aspired that our hopes were shot, with the hiring of James King and Dan Hall they have systematically brought our club down and disrespected of true legend of our club in what should have been his 10th year.
We had the comple and utter shambles of the Marwan Serry affair, which made a joke of this club and neither side came out looking well.
And then the relegation.
Over the summer it seemed we were promised the world, perhaps some of us were naïve to think it were true.
The silence from the club is defining and quite a worrying factor. This is club I grew up watching, I'll forever be a fan , be that in the League or the Isthmian league I'll still be following along , yet what I and think we all want is clarity and honesty. Stop speaking to us as if this is our second team, it simply isn't. We deserve better then this.
Personally abusing players has no place in our game, we should be supporting them on the pitch and getting behind them.
I fully support the planned protest on Saturday.

Don't forget ladies/gents, that the Andy Carroll watch along is tonight!!! Obviously more important than the future of this football club!

I think that the situation at the club is untenable. We currently employ, on a full time basis, a team of the worst dregs of professional footballers. A bunch of no hopers who are desperately clinging on to the idea that they can still make a living out of the game. Meanwhile we are getting beaten by much better part-time players who earn more by holding down proper jobs too and more importantly are enjoying their football. Every one of our players (and the manager) looks like they don't want to be there. Unfortunately the contracts these players are on mean that we can't just go part time overnight so we have only one choice and that is to fold the current club and come back next season as a phoenix. It will give us the chance to get rid of the people who have overseen this tragic decline and bring back the spirit that Dave Andrews and John Still engendered during the halcyon days. The fans will turn up in their droves because it will be fun again and we will be winning games because we will be able to attract the best young lads and part time players in the area. In the past couple of seasons all the fun of watching Dagenham and Redbridge has gone. It's a miserable place to watch football nowadays and the soul of the club is gone. Time to start again (or merge which is the usual Dagenham way of getting out of a slump!).
