I was in rhe hone end.
View was probably better where you were.
No terracibg, so looking over shoulders, home bar area is 2 lots of decking, so unless you are on the rails, vision is poor.
On the plus side 30 minute queue for a pint and 5 for the toilet.
That stadium will not get into the Nationsl Conference.
If they do so can anyone.

That was shocking today. Worst than Solihull in a way, as we just didn't turn up. Missed passes, ball watching, no communication......embarrassing. Not sure any of them earned a place next season....and we need a captain, a leader.

Solihull was a dark day for the club but today’s performance, actual performance, was miles worse.

Did we have a proper shot?? I left after 80’ mins but until then we had one shot/cross that looped to the keeper and one mishit from Broad (I think) in first half that deflected wide?? At Solihull we actually played ok at times (people won’t like me saying that), we just couldn’t finish any one of 20 chances. Today we didn’t create one proper chance. That midfield today was just non existent.

Honestly, can’t believe how bad it was. We’ve had some bad derby day performances over the years (against Canvey, Grays, Barnet) but that today was just awful.

One word sums up the game / Painful.

The stadium is atrocious for a normal person but even worse for anyone with a disability.

The step up from the walkway to the seats was way too deep and many people struggled (by holding on to others) and no handrail in places to assist.

The away ladies toilet was a portaloo with no sink, just hand sanitizer.

The whole ground felt like a safety risk.

Back to the football. We didn’t show up and that was disappointing given, local derby, big crowd and long shot at the playoffs. Huge clearout due.

Last Saturday we had a good result with a poor performance against not a good team . Today we were well beaten by a better side with better players. In my opinion only 2 players came off this afternoon with any credit - Lawless and Leech. We were second best everywhere on the pitch. Out fought, out thought and out played. Big rebuild needed for next season.

The performance today has all been too often during this season. Our season has been plagued by inconsistent displays and that is why all we have struggled to get into the top half of the league rather than the playoffs.
It has been a very frustrating season.
