A couple of points though. You've said that the lino should be struck off, but he has acted in exactly the manner he should have done. The referee was closer and had an unobstructed view. The referee having an unobstructed view isn't a matter of opinion it's a matter of fact.
It also isn't a leg breaking challenge. Their player is in the floor with one left going up. The challenges that break legs are when a player is coming down onto the player.

And I've pointed out in the past that just because someone has an opinion of something, it doesn't mean that the opinion isn't utter crap.
