Here’s what I’ve heard:
1. It’s fallen through, Mr interim chairman hasn’t been seen for weeks.
2) The dreadful start to the season has caused a delay in the announcement as people won’t like who it is (Egyptians) making it a big tinderbox, the Serry thing makes sense now.
3) it’s all done and Dan Hall is refusing to sign off because he was sacked by underdog and now he is demanding most of his investment back and the new owners or underdog don’t want too pay him off.
4) There are no new owners it’s all a trick to get underdog back in the good books and they’ll reappear went it went well. Backfired.
No idea if any of the above is true.
I've heard something different which makes me think all of 1-4 is a load of tosh.

Okay I have since heard other things.
At least Ilford FC, when we’re in the Essex Senior League, will make a nice local derby in a year or two.

If we end up in the Essex Senior League as you suggest, perhaps we can then go back to being a Members Club because as I recall we didn't do too badly in those days before we got taken over by various different investors.

The fact is it's now been 2 months since the club put out a statement about the new owners. And we still have absolutely no idea who they are. That's if they even existed in the first place!

The club is a shambles from top to bottom, on and off the pitch.
It won’t be long until the stadium is leased to West Ham Women. And we’re homeless
