Not certain there was ever a chance of Shields getting a look in once he missed most of pre season

I imagine that Shields may be loaned out for a while and Nouble might join the Harlem Globetrotters. Hopefully having a fit Murphy and Zav back will be like signing two new players, so I'm more optimistic than a few weeks ago. Neither GK has much experience which concerns me and we're still a small side, compared to what we'll be facing again this year. Impossible to make any predictions other than it will be 'interesting' again!

Pleased with what we have today for the game. Decent starting xi and threats off the bench. Agree about Nouble and Shields going out on Loan

Would be astonished if any of those three were looking to renew their contract before the season ended and they knew where we ended up... a fit Abs and Rhys would be snapped up by a league One team with no problems... Doe wouldn't struggle to find another team despite his ability to go from Championship class to non-league in two games

Same, but knowing they could all go for nothing in the summer is heartbreaking lol

Both gone out on loan - Shields to St. Albans and Nouble to Welling
