Agree that Ralph just at wrong end of career for us. Therefore that is why I suggested Eduino Vaz could fit the need for a left back and now understand he is a free agent.

I'm hoping our manager has a player in mind that he has seen and been impressed with.

It won’t be Dowrich, he has signed a new deal with Hemel, reading the statement on Hemel’s website it looks like he failed medical at Forest Green that could affect him going into a full time environment so decided to sign a new deal at Hemel.

Has lead to a Hemel fan saying there were issues with Allinson and all Hemel players which is why no one from Hemel wanted to sign for us. From rumours I have seen we only went in for two, one went to FGR and one failed a medical so all sounds a bit like sour grapes to me.

So many issues they run through brick walls for him and got their silly little club in the play offs, sour grapes indeed. Glad to hear we’re not throwing silly money at players and certainly those ones with injury issues, long may it continue. Hearing Noah Coppin from Salisbury will be one of the next ones to be announced, 19 goals last season.

Dowrich and Ajayi both picked Forest Green over us for obvious reasons that no one can really be too shocked or annoyed at. However it then came to light that Dowrich is carrying a surprise long-term injury, which is why he’s now staying at Hemel. Unfortunately for the lad a pro team will not go near him under those conditions. Well there was a pro team that would do that very often, but it looks like they’re finally learning their lesson :blum:

Oteh has signed for Ebbsfleet, so that’s another one out the door, great finisher at this level. Decent signing for them although not sure he would fit into a hard working team which is what we have been promised

Haigh has also confirmed on X that he is off.

That one is a sickner.

That is very disappointing.

Josh Addae is a Dagger. A 22 year old right back who played for Chesham United last season. He has been signed on a one year deal.

Can't be certain but get the impression we will be playing some variety of a 4-3-3 this season... Would have loved Oteh in a 2 man attack but not sure he was the solution either out wide or as the sole attacker in a 3. Gone to a team with strong attacking options already so hoping he has a decent season, just not at our expense

A huge disappointment not being able to keep Joe Haigh but not surprising as I thought he would be a player in demand from lots of clubs.
Despite lots of signings, we still only have 18 contracted players of which 3 are goalkeepers so expecting a few more coming in and possibly a couple leaving.

Davide Rodari is a Dagger. A 26 year old forward who hopefully will score a few goals for us.

Scores plenty of goals, hopefully a good
foil for Andy Carroll.
Pretty much a complete new team now
let’s hope they can gel quickly

We are still short of a left back to give balance or we are stuck with playing 3 at the back all the time.

Now we have signed Rodari would that be instead of Coppin or have we possibly got both players in mind?
