Well if this is true, it’s very disappointing. Also I’d be very pissed off if I was Alan Jeyes being told to deliver a message that the takeover was delayed because it needed restructuring, when actually it would appear that it was delayed because the other buyers had pulled out.
Just need to wait and see, I hope it all comes to nothing.

Just my personal opinion but I find that most influencers (wankers to the older generation) are only interested in themselves and self promotion for personal gain! And the saddos that follow them like sheep are no different.
To think that these type of people are intending on running our club with no experience whatsoever in running a football club, I hope upon hope that I’m wrong about them but after the sherry farce I’m not holding my breath.

But but but, he does have football experience from playing the Fifa game.
I am really hoping this is just another rumour. After the last debacle, I would have hoped Club Underpants would steer well clear.
Yeah we are a loss making club in the lower level of non league football and we aren’t an attractive proposition. Then let those who really care about rebuilding this club from its foundations take over and run it.

I'm not sure that Club Underdog are to concerned or worried as to who they sell the club to. Their main concern is just to pass the club onto somebody else.

It’s happening, if you don’t have a ticket for upcoming games I suggest you buy one as we will be overrun with lots and lots of youngsters.

Being overrun with youngsters isn’t the worst thing ever! It’s got to be a long term thing though not just a flash in the pan.
Being run by idiots is of course a concern but many would argue that since Dave Andrews stepped down we have!

i don’t know if it is related, but on the Southend Airport gossip page there is a post about a private jet arriving at the airport this morning

Flight is from LA to Southend airport. Van Nuys is most commonly used by wealthy individuals or well known celebrities
