As he is the longest serving member on the board I would have given it to Simmo. At least the fans would know who our chairman is as Simmo is at every home and away game AND talks to the supporters!

Seeing as though he cut back on posting on the old forum due to the amount of shit he got I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't want the big job either.

fair point Tom.but the question is was Simmo even asked or considered for the post? Did Gerry hanging not say when he resigned as a board member that he was fed up with 5 board members always sticking together of which Paul Gwinnett was one!0
