Reports of Bills not paid, staff not paid and a transfer embargo.

And now their shirt sponsor withdraws their sponsorship.

Nothing more pleasing than seeing lying cheats getting found out, shame that they won’t be floating downstream before next week’s game because unfortunately we are going to get stuffed harder than a cheap hore or a Christmas turkey

Sorry to disappoint everyone waiting for Southend's demise.
Contracts have been exchanged and it looks like the sale is finally going through.

I'm pleased for their supporters.

Another winding up petition and the takeover still not complete! When will the league step in again? Southend have made a joke of the league this season and the buyer for the club, in my opinion, would be better off keeping his money, letting Southend go under and backing the fans to start a phoenix club.

Good luck to Southend at Wembley today. I hope they win 6-0.

I've also been impressed by the way the whole city has got behind the club for today.
They've sold over 28,500 tickets, and probably could have sold far more if it hadn't been for the Wembley ticket farce which reduced capacity.

At the end of January we were just one point behind them in the league and sixteen points ahead of Boston, it just shows you what it disaster it was for us in that period till the end of season.

it shows you what a complete and utter balls up the club made, not only in appointing Lewis Young, but keeping him in situ until the end of the season.
