The Testimonial Game for Elliot Justham will be played at 1.00 pm on 20th July 2025 at Maldon & Tiptree FC.

There is a coach (free) being laid on for up to 52 people from Victoria Road to the game.

The game is a side of Daggers Legends picked by Elliot against Maldon & Tiptree FC.

Elliot is a DAGGERS LEGEND and I hope many will come along that day to support him.

Should have been against a premier league first team. Will earn nothing from this

I’ve heard they’re canceling the testimonial based on ticket sales, like many I had not even got around to buying my ticket yet so is it just an excuse? I can see there is no tickets to buy online as the link has now gone, it was on the new ticket site last week. I guess players Dan Hall deems not a legend don’t get a proper send off.

This is disgusting and shameful.

As I understand it, the club agreed the testimonial as part of Elliot's exit plan. Elliot was trying to do the club a favour by not triggering the extension to his contract.
However, if it is postponed because of low ticket sales, I have not seen the club promote it anywhere.
It got buried on the website (not pinned to the home page) within days of it being announced
It has not been covered in any depth, if at all, on the clubs official social media
I have received no email about it, and I am on the Daggers ST/main mailing list.
If you don't tell anyone about an event, no one will turn up.
But then again, Dan Hall said publicly at the fans forum (and had to be corrected) that Elliot was not a club legend, so why should we expect anything better.

As bad as it is from the club, they didn’t bother promoting any game last season except the odd tweet or instagram post a couple of days before. Inept from top to bottom.

I think I'll just stick to away games next season.
I just can't hand over any more money to these incompetent self centered pricks.
