Haven't looked in to it too much as was placing on making an attendance decision last minute... But assuming this is a pay at the door kind of game?
No idea if there are areas to park near the ground if the main car park is full... Has anyone been to Aveley previously?

They have a reasonable size car park, you should have no problem parking.

Also pay on the gate.

That's the decision made, I think... Cheers Len

Bradbury out. Awful first half. Aveley very physical. No4 trialist our best player so far. We ain't giving their defence any problems.

If anyone thought last season was a low point for the team, this is a wake up in the first 60 today... 3-0 down and out muscled or out run to a man so far.
Keep hold of the number 4 on trial and find a way to use the giant number 3 in defense
If we start a competitive game with NGuessan and Lawless in midfield we might as well not bother

I've gone home. Dreadful.
No4 first half looked tidy,
Stevenson and the Chinese looking bloke 2nd half seemed up for it.
I know it's about fitness but I've seen nothing that suggests this season will much fun.

How disappointing was that.
Didn’t look like scoring for the whole game
So much work to do

Josh umeriah shocking again, missed an absolute sitter second half. Declined massively, lets see how it gets on rest of pre-season.

Similar to the sitter missed at Solihull that got us relegated or worse than that?

It is great to win every game we play but this is only our first of a number of friendlies
we have in order to prepare for the season.
It is also our new managers first game in charge of what is an almost brand new team.
A proper and fair assessment will be after around eight or ten league game so need to wait and see.

Bear in mind it was also manager Brett Munyard’s first game in charge and also a predominately new team. Aveley have three games in four days and will be using U18’s. Aveley are a part time team with, I presume less total training hours than we’ve had.
My worry is that I think we had a poor preseason last year and look where that got us.
Aveley manager post match interview.

Lee Bradbury said a few players not available to be involved last night but does anyone know what line up we did put out?

I could have told Bradbury that before he signed them, stupid signings. Hopefullly I’m proved wrong.
