For all the changes over the summer, nothing actually, fundamentally seems to have. We've got an even more woefully under-performing team, headed by another self-defined winner who thus far is doing anything but, and an ownership regime raising serious questions.
A piece on this club's present and future, any reads appreciated.

Agree with every word Joel really good article. The feeling of apathy and frustration with the lack of communication as ever is so frustrating. The football is as bad as ever.

Joel, it is good to read that you are feeling the same as I do.

Can't say I disagree with any of that.
It's absolutely criminal what's going on.

Everything you have said is spot on son!
Broom Broom Broom - Let me hear you say Wayo - Wayo!
Today the club sent out by email the weekly newsletter Daggers Digest, this was intended to keep us supporters up to date with what is happening at the club and relevant events, an ideal platform TO actually state what the f#k is going on behind the scenes with player injury progress and what latest developments in the so called takeover, all they need to state is the bleeding obvious…. It’s over, if this isn’t the case then explain the silence, if it’s still ongoing but at a delicate stage then say so, not difficult is it?

apparently there's been rumours of John Grabowski essentially saying: "The takeover deal is done, CU are going, this is a long process and the only thing to do is to sign the paperwork, essentially putting Qatar into power. Well ok then, why haven't the club provided supporters with an update to what is going on? (even if its vague). Also, my guess is that JG is saying this because of the protests that will be taking place on Saturday afternoon. Alongside this, my guess is that qatar have either pulled or the takeover deal has stalled, hence why they're waiting for the right time to publish the news.

Regardless of whose doing what, there's one constant in all of this, Thompson.
At least have the balls to come out and say something. Or are we just the shite on the end of his shoes, as per usual.
Pathetic.

I know John Grabowski according to the programme is listed as the Chief Commercial Manager and on the board of directors but assume he hasn't got any financial interest in the club, would I be correct in saying that?Harrym4737 wrote: Wed Oct 01, 2025 4:19 pm apparently there's been rumours of John Grabowski essentially saying: "The takeover deal is done, CU are going, this is a long process and the only thing to do is to sign the paperwork, essentially putting Qatar into power. God knows! When he came to the club it was just as an employee
