Views from the Sieve

Over the last 8 matches the Daggers have earned the third most points and the two clubs with more points in that span are above us in the table. So the club is moving away from the relegation zone and making up ground for a playoff spot, with some work to do.

Daggers have had the biggest turn around over last 8 matches versus the entire season to date.

In worrisome news, it should be noted that our opponents so far have been earning 1.31 PPG and our remaining schedule the opponents are averaging 1.41 PPG, so the season is going to get harder and not easier. 5 of the clubs ahead of us in the table are looking at an easier schedule based on what has happened so far this season. 6 clubs below us in the table have it easier going forward.

I think had the sale of the club gone through a couple of months ago there would have been a good chance that because the results were were so bad up to that time, the new owners would probably have got rid of Lee Bradbury as the manager.
You have got to say, that the transformation since then has been something of a miracle in terms of points gained, so credit must go to the manager and players in achieving this and hope that it will continue in this manner.

Whatever we are doing in the present seems to be working. I do worry about injury to one person in particular, but for now I am just enjoying the ride, which is a nice change in pace.

Hopefully as the season continues the full time conditioning starts to help. At some point it better make a difference.
