I remember going down to Reading by train for the game against them and managing to get a draw and then going to the replay at Victoria Road which I think we lost 1-0.
A huge attendance in the replay which set the ground record that day.

Yes we did lose the replay 1-0 and you're right that was the biggest crowd ever at Victoria Road. The grass bank was bursting and the terraces were packed. I think we'd have played Man City if we'd won
