Would love to hear the argument for giving him longer. Last time it was wait until Christmas, and it’s been and gone and we’re still in the bottom half.

My view on this stuff hasn't really changed since the last two or three recurrences.

The club is in a terrible state and changing the manager is the least of our worries. Nothing will change until we have the right culture from the very top. Strevs, for all his questionable recruitment and selections, talked a lot about this but was one man in a broken system.

Maybe another contract payout and another change will give us a mini bounce and kick the can down the road once more. But it is just a sticking plaster over a chasm.

He's had more than enough time and he is never likely to change his negative tactics that have cost us a number of points.

He has the safest job in football.

All quiet on the ownership front, not a word from Anwar Uddin and we're been taken for mugs.

It's going to take a good few seasons for us to recover from the absolute train wreck we had last season. James King and Dan Hall have ripped the club apart from the inside out.

Yep - Thommo has always been reticent to sack managers and he isn't suddenly going to start now. With Club Underdog as our current owners and no news about a takeover we probably haven't go the money to sack him so that's it until the end of the season. Hopefully we will change our business model in the summer, go hybrid/part time and bring in a manager who can attract young and hungry players. We might then have the energy that seemingly every team in this leagues possesses except us. This season is over unless we get sucked into a relegation battle (very possible).
