Ex Daggers

Maldon have just won their league, with three ex Daggers in their team. Bromley promoted, with two or three in their team. Hornchurch, half the squad are ex Daggers and also their are one or two in the Southend team. As well as, Reid at Stevenage and Joey Jones at Notts County, are still banging in the goals regularly.
It's a shame we let these players go, or they wanted to go for various reasons, especially Cheek and Rees.
If I'm not at a game on Saturday and watch Sky Sports News, it's disappointing when I see the scorers and I say to the dog, "He used to play for Dagenham, he used to play for Dagenham
Is it the wages we offer, or lack of ambition from our club, which leads them to go?
On the Slough video highlights, I was disappointed to see Marsh, our so called Captain, just walk away from the penalty area, after conceding at least two of our goals, as though it's nothing to do with him. He should be encouraging or directing the players. I can't recall Billy Bond's, Tommy Smith, Bremner, or even for us Tim Cole or Anwar just walking away.
Our 'Namby, pamby' snowflake players, seem to think it's ok to concede two or three goals every game and there's no consequences.
For the new season, we really need someone like Luke Gutteridge, he used to shout during the game "Clean sheet, clean sheet",
It might be an idea to sign one decent, as opposed to two or three mediocre players.
All the best for the new season, have a great summer everyone and keep the faith
