He has departed by mutual consent. It has been rumoured for a while now, put in some reasonable steady performances last season but obviously not in the manager's plans.

Think that might be an error. After a sticky start he was our best defender aside from Graham and was our most reliable after Graham was injured. Seemed versatile ,left back, central defence and even sub goalie. Good left foot. I hope his replacements with less experience than him prove an improvement.
