Similar to the sitter missed at Solihull that got us relegated or worse than that?

Re: Season ticket prices

I spoke to the ticket office today. They told me a letter will be sent out next week giving an option as to whether you would like to receive your ticket in the form of
the traditional plastic card or straight to your wallet and once received you merely send your preference back to them.

So ...

Re: New Owners?

Companies house has updated with the termination of Dan Hall as a director

(As well as Mark Odams, the members director who is standing down).

No doubt incoming directors to be announced very soon…

Re: Season ticket prices

Sorry, I had my migraine treatment and a whopping great migraine yesterday, so only just picking this up.

The club said they were going to email all season ticket holders yesterday, but i’m not sure if they’ve done so (as I have already requested a plastic card).

Each season ticket holder will be ...

Re: Season ticket prices

When you hear tomorrow how the club are going to administer season tickets, if you've already renewed I think you'll worry why you bothered, as it doesn't look like they actually want people to come to the games.

Re: Morecambe

This morning it looks like Morecambe are going in and out of administration, so that straw is unlikely to be no more.

I’m delighted for their fans that they look like they are getting their club back.

Absolutely gutted for Morecambe but I’m clutching on that straw with you.

Re: Ashley Hemmings

Could be a good signing although I am not too good at picking out good strikers. I thought Jamie Cureton was too old when we signed him. 'Nuff said.

When you think Cureton was 39years old and scored 19 goals for us in league 2 in one season and quite deservingly won player of the season. An ...

Re: New Owners?

I hope we receive a positive announcement soon.
At least we seem to be preparing for the season ahead and buying players.

It looks like our friends at Morecambe FC are in serious trouble and their new ownership bid is on the brink of collapse.

Re: New Season Thoughts

I must agree that Ashley Vickers during that period did a great job for us but times have changed in as much as with some of his tackling would not now be tolerated in today’s football and would be booked or sent off on a regular basis.
With regard to your point about a midfield player needed ...

Re: The signings continue...

Apparently Maghoma is around 6ft 3.
I'm amazed we signed a tall defender.

The announcement states he's 6'5".

On Wikipedia he is only 6ft 1ins so I think perhaps he should be measured again to sort this out!

That’s why i used ‘around 6ft 3’ especially as other football sites have him ...
