The club don’t run the catering, the people that do (Julie’s) pay a rent/fee each season to work all the outlets.

Re: George Saunders

It’s only a 1 year with an option, we don’t have to take up that option and can release him if he does not make the grade of which jury is out for me. We have him unfit, Phipps can’t keep fit and the new guy who is injury prone according to his stats and Wealdstone fans. Hopefully the next few signi...

Re: New Signing Pending

Negative or realistic when it comes to rehabilitation of players? This lad sounds superb and full will give him a chance but his injuries have defined his career, hopefully it’s a turning point and the full time training helps him along from the twice a week he had at the raiders.

Re: New Signing Pending

Love signing an injury prone player, could eventually cost two wages via a mid season signing if he don’t stay fit, although he might not be a starter so let’s see who else comes in.

Re: Callum Reynolds

Think he moved as he lives that way now with his young family and was not a guaranteed starter next season so good luck to him. Hearing a defender is on the way in and Zouma is not due to be a starter. Last season our defence cost us a place in the play offs, glad the manager has eventually seen thi...

Re: The Future.

Is it just the extra wear and tear or does rugby itself rip up a ground. Would a NL club and rugby club do more to a ground than a NL club and women's team that use Victoria Road? Do any of these multiuse grounds go with artificial turf for this reason? I know the one club late in the season had ar...

Re: The Future.

York are in their new ground, which they share with the rugby league club. It's not in the city centre so not quite the brilliant day it was I suspect Do the grounds that share with rugby find the playing surface is better or worse shape than a football-only ground? On the one hand their might be m...

Re: Squad for 22/23

We don’t have so many players to sign this season as the spine of the team is there and also stuff really gets going towards the end of the month when players decide the best offer on the table as they’ll need a wage that and can’t afford to wait much longer. Last week of June I think we will see so...

Re: Squad for 22/23

Was thinking more for his experience and only as a squad player. We will no doubt have players warming the bench week in week out but for someone of his calibre, might be useful in training and the dressing room to have around. Do you still perceive that as "Funny" Digger??? He managed 6 ...

Re: Squad for 22/23

Heard very little rumours compared to last season but I don’t think we have the same player turnover. Some decent wages have left so let’s hope it’s spent correctly and not consistently buying throughout next season. Strizovic has just be confirmed for another 2 years. Agree with Mark about Johnson,...

Re: New kit ??

Memphis FC have just changed from Nike to Puma so we might follow the same direction and get away from these awful Nike template kits, I saw our blue Away shirt in sports direct for 12 quid the other day, obviously no badge or sponsor but the exact same shirt.

Re: Squad for 22/23

Our defence is what cost us so him leaving is no loss same with Wright. Hopefully the replacements are decent and have some height and muscle.

Re: Squad for 22/23

Wright was never a centre half, he was played out of position for the entire season by an oaf of a manager who couldn't see the wood for the trees. Good luck Will in MIDFIELD for Gillingham. Best tell the Gillingham manager that as he’s been signed as a defender. Hearing Reynolds is off to Maidstone.
