Re: V Crawley Friendly 15th July

Interesting game... I see they just signed Dion Pereira and he scored twice in their first pre-season game last week. Hopefully we can keep him quiet for 90 minutes and get something useful to show to what is likely to be a decent crowd given the Carroll signing.

Re: Andy Carroll is a Dagger

He'll score a bucket load. He's playing against NLS defenders. We give him the right service, he'll get loads.

This is a great night to be a Dagger!!!

Let's be positive, embrace the change, and see where it takes us.

We've gone from Serry to this. It's fantastic for the club. We have lift off ...

Re: Sittingbourne friendly

Only seen first half team listed that included two trialists, Hemmings on bench, Wilson still not available and Umerah up front. On bench we had a further three trialists.
Would hope that Marsh and Wilson will be fit at the start of the season because impossible to judge any of these games at the ...

Re: Andy Carroll is a Dagger

If he stays fit! BIG question isn’t it? He’s had a career blighted by injury but IF he can stay fit he should be an asset not only on the pitch but also in the dressing room his experience could be priceless. (the influence he could have on youngsters like Hemings could be immense) but a 3 year ...

Re: New Owners?

As much as I am pleased to see Anwar's name in the mix, as the club has been missing a football head since the late great Dave Andrews (RIP) retired, I can't help but remember that Tamplin brought in Paul Benson to win people over.

100% acquisition - where do the full members stand in this ...

Re: Sittingbourne friendly

1 goal in two games against inferior opposition, same problems last season with no strikers any good or fit enough to play.

Any suggestion we got a decent first half out of Umerah? Not expecting 25 goals this season but these first two games should have been a confidence builder after Solihull ...

Sittingbourne friendly

Anyone in attendance tonight? I assume the Trialists were the same tonight as last Friday? Slightly different starting XI by the look of social media but nothing I can see confirming a second half XI

Wing backs:

Khaleel (?)

Forwards:
Umerah

Re: Squad For New Season

We have nineteen players contracted for the season including two goalkeepers.
In our game against Aveley we also had six trialists involved.
I would imagine that there are one or two players inherited from last season that Lee Bradbury would like to offload if possible.
My question is how many ...

Re: Aveley friendly

One definitely confirmed is Bivesh Gurung, a defensive midfielder who was at Maidstone. They offered him a new deal and he seems relatively well rated by their fans.

One may be Rashawn Scott from Bishop Stortford. Certainly looks spitting image of him, and the bench were calling him Shaun ...

Re: Aveley friendly

If anyone thought last season was a low point for the team, this is a wake up in the first 60 today... 3-0 down and out muscled or out run to a man so far.

Keep hold of the number 4 on trial and find a way to use the giant number 3 in defense

If we start a competitive game with NGuessan and ...

Keep the number one on his toes... Definitely a solid signing for this level, especially for a team that traditionally hasn't been super solid with back up keepers
