Re: Southend boxing day next season

And if fans are allowed, will away fans be allowed? I think when we had a crowd last year away fans were not permitted. Given where I live (I can see Southend's floodlights in the distance from my front garden) I might have more chance of getting to the away game if they regulate ticket sales by po...

Re: Aldershot (H)

During a normal season there is the odd game where we are so crap and clueless I end up leaving 10 minutes early, today was the first time I went out of the house with half and hour to go because there was nothing to indicate the passion or desire to win the game, players have an off day now and aga...

Re: Chesterfield (H)

A couple of things would appease supporters, effort and movement, watching games I see neither of these and for one player in particular I just don’t know what his instructions from the manager must be, Brundle gets in good positions when attacking but defending he marks nobody! He does a good point...

Re: King's Lynn (H)

Great fight back in the end, but I’m still wondering what Brundle does, shit penalty and fortunate for him to get the winner, should never have missed that penalty. Next up Eastleigh COYD

Re: King's Lynn (H)

I’ve given up on hoping for a result in our favour, one gives up any hope when the man of the match last time out doesn’t get a start! Playing with 10 isn’t going to be good enough I’m afraid... what does Brundle bring to the party? take him off and with that sub we will be back to a full 11

Re: Stockport..

A tactical masterclass from McMoan! What needs to happen to make our lads want it more? Only bright light was Robinson and Deering, if the season is stopped it will do us a favour

Re: Dover

Wasn’t the best of performances but 3 points is what was needed, senseless penalty given away but fortunately the guy who took it was sh1t and Elliot is superb, we should have wrapped it up with another couple of goals but the weather was appalling.

Tier 3

Well after one game we are back to watching in a streaming service, the performance was poor on Saturday but at least we were able to get our football fix.

Re: Altrincham Match First Game for Fans

Great to be back today and the result was what we deserved.. Nothing! the defence is looking quite solid most of the time, Weston and McQueen look good on the wings but the attack is toothless I can only hope with Mccallum back some of the crosses would have been put away. Main problem is the midfie...

Re: Altrincham Match First Game for Fans

Also received my season ticket today, what concerns me now is the statement on the welcome back film on the club website that states that you have to use the NHS app to access the ground but what about those who do not have the app or a smartphone? I don’t have the app and have no intention of getti...

Re: Altrincham Match First Game for Fans

I’m going and so is my son and at least we can stand together. Been looking forward to getting back and watching football, I just hope everybody going is sensible in regards to distancing. As for season tickets my son received his last week but I’m still waiting, Club has said there’s plenty of time...

Re: RIP Ted Hardy

I was in my early teens when I first started to go to Victoria road and Ted was in his first spell as the manager then, always had time to talk to us kids after games and encouraged us onto the pitch at the end of games after us spending an entire game having a kick around on the old mud slope that ...
