Aldershot Home
Well, I'm just digesting that performance...a truly awful first half from both teams but Aldershot looked better. A much improved start to the second with the pen and sending off seemingly smoothing our path to a comfortable home win...But no, only Daggers can conspire to nearly throw that away and ...

Re: Barnet home
We played well? What game were people watching, we got dominated from start to finish and were fairly fortunate we didn’t lose by more goals, as Mick Payne said in the bar ‘we were in the game but their keeper bar the EJ header save at the end did not have a save to make all game’. The call for Ben...

Re: Barnet home
As said above I thought we played pretty well and the game turned on those two pens. I was right on top of them, and the first one looked like a stonewaller albeit a rash challenge but the second one was a joke. The bloke basically air kicked and tripped himself over but the ref couldn't wait to giv...

Re: Eastleigh home
You can keep your 7-1s and 4-0s, would just be nice to be able to protect a one goal lead at home. We always have to score more because you know we'll concede late on. I thought Eastleigh definitely had good spells, noticeably at 1-1 until Junior scored and then the beginning of the second, but I'm ...

Re: Solihull Moors (Home)
Well we all know we're rarely capable of seeing a 1-0 out so when we didn't score that second when we had numerous chances you kinda knew what was coming. I thought Solihull were neat and tidy and certainly once they scored it looked like they might nick it, but I also went think we should have been...

Re: Sutton (H)
Took the train for once so I have to spend the 48 stops on The District Line doing something,😉Well worked opener slightly against the run of play but another good finish from Rees. Nice to get the cushion of a two goal lead for once and then we sort of invited Sutton to score for a good ten minute s...

Re: Southend Away
Yep, as others have said, decent result on the face of it but ultimately gutted not to hang on but was predictable the way we just tried to see out the last 10 or so without any other plan, albeit it wss quite valiant at times. You just knew one of them was gonna go in. I thought generally it was a...

Re: Halifax (H) Thread
Yep, can't remember a game like that for a while where I can't believe we didn't win (and unbelievably could have lost at the death). Like Woking on Tues they never looked like scoring but that's the price you pay for not killing a team off. Thought we were good overall.

Re: Woking (a) Thread
Hmm, yeah..I thought we started brightly and controlled the game for 30 mins or so without creating any real chances. It feels like last season when we started some games well but petered out when the opposition realised we couldn't really hurt them. Woking are crap and scored with their only meanin...

Re: Wealdstone (H)
I mean we won so great..but I thought we were quite fortunate to do so as Wealdstone looked like the only team that would at 1-1. But as others have said Pereira class act. I'm amazed Morias played as much as he did because he looked well off it and well, a bit fat, he was a virtual passenger first ...

Re: Fixtures
I think we pretty much controlled the game against Dulwich without creating too many chances and the ones we did we should have done much better with including a complete air shot from about 6 yards out.

Re: 7 years ago today…
The first and last time I've ever got the supporters coach. We were awful and then took about three days to get home with the traffic, plus air con failed on the coach - a day to forget!

Re: Romford FC
Yeah I agree spending 7 hours in the underbelly of the National stadium was certainly a strange abode about it but certainly a day that had action. Vase? Firstly well done to Romford they were in total command and Great Wakering Rovers just couldn't break their back line with Doey & Co well sol...

Re: Play Offs
Just seen some bloke called Myles Weston score two goals for Bromley, the second of which was a belter. Apparently he used to play for us but I don't think it can the same person.
