Lee Bradbury
A very busy time ahead now to build a decent squad. He has had a varied playing and coaching career and wish him every success in turning the fortunes round after everything that went on last season.
It should be an interesting time over the next few weeks and just feel a total relief that the appointment of a new manager has finally been completed.

Finally, an appointment and hopefully a positive one.
Shame it was spoiled by the teaser announcement on social media saying to find out the news first you needed to be signed up to the club newsletter.
When are the adults going to enter the Daggers building? The children who haven’t a clue how to build and respect a fanbase seem to still be running the show.

All very positive but the line he came out with " We've got a good board here" rings alarm bells for me.
He must have heard how awfully they treated Strevs, Justham and us the fans.
And their destruction of a mid table at worst group of players last season.
I'm all for supporting the new guy but not blindly. For me he has to do something pretty impressive before I start worshipping Daggers again.

Bollix to Shampoo, it's real poo we want !
Yeah agreed. Glad he is here now, but I’m not impressed with the board comment. I know he can’t slate them, but it feels like he was asked to say that by them. I’d like someone to not accept their nonsense like that.ARNU wrote: Wed Jun 04, 2025 6:36 pm All very positive but the line he came out with " We've got a good board here" rings alarm bells for me.

But for the stuff that matters, I’ll support him of course. But anything less than promotion is not good enough. Up to him and the clown owners to deliver it now.

Let's get behind him.
He's a very good appointment with a good track record.
I'm ignoring all the so and so turned us down chatter. I'd say that if I didn't get a job.
He was our first choice.
The board made catastrophic errors last year, but let's try and get behind them, they want to put things right.

You can't really expect him to come out of the gate and complain about the board. I don't really expect any manager to do that while employed by the club, or any club but doing so at the initial press conference seems a bit asking to much from the new manager.ARNU wrote: Wed Jun 04, 2025 6:36 pm All very positive but the line he came out with " We've got a good board here" rings alarm bells for me.

I am so tired of the heat and humidity of the summers in the southeastern USA.

He wasn’t the first choice,. Happy to get behind the new manager but the board can all go jump off a cliff, the damage done by them in the last year could well be irreversible and it will be the fans that will eventually rebuild this club not them.digdagmalc wrote: Wed Jun 04, 2025 10:27 pm Let's get behind him.

Totally agree, we all need to look forward in getting behind the manager and team.digdagmalc wrote: Wed Jun 04, 2025 10:27 pm Let's get behind him.

What happened last season cannot be altered but with a new manager and players we can endeavour to move forwards and upwards in turning our club back into something to be proud of again.
