The two Cheltenham fans that were thrown out
Couldn't help but notice, two Cheltenham fans were chucked out today. One was celebrating a goal quite close to pitch and got restrained by about 4 police/stewards and another got thrown out later for aruging his mates case. Absolute joke from our stewards, aren't people allowed to celebrate anymore?

Yh agree withr the first one being harsh but the 2nd one spent 15 mins arguing with stewards and police along with some girl.
At least it gave me the chance to start the chant "cry on a minute, he's gonna cry in a minute" after he was carried out swinging his arms about like s baboon

Some take it you heard everything that was said by all parties concerned then?admin wrote:Couldn't help but notice, two Cheltenham fans were chucked out today. Hear it? No. But I had a very clear view of it all and of the case of the first person being ejected they was nothing to hear.Adrian wrote:Some take it you heard everything that was said by all parties concerned then?admin wrote:Couldn't help but notice, two Cheltenham fans were chucked out today. If you didn't hear anything, how do you know there was nothing to hear? Or was the person escorted out in complete silence?admin wrote:Hear it? As soon as they scored and the stewards were jumping about trying to stop them celebrating. I knew someone would end up getting chucked out, stewards make it 10x worse sometimes. Just let them celebrate, they'll go back up to their seats once they've finished.
Don't know what was said for both to be chucked out, so can't say whether that was right or wrong.

Agree with Arnu once again, they pissed me off last year when they would not allow me out to get medication from my car when I had a migraine develop during the Poetsmouth game. We'll that's not very accurate they would let me out but the getting back I was the issue.
Don't care what was said the first expulsion was way over the top. Perhaps he is a fan like ours at Burton last season who I know travels miles upon miles each season watching what after all is a product that is second rate at best. When you look like getting something out of a game emotions do get the better of you.
I fell foul of a Muppet at Plymouth earlier this year, I was already leaving with about 15 minutes left when Wayne decided the best way of saving a game was to introduce that prolific Agyman. On the way out I asked the Goalkeeper if there was any chance he could kick the bloody thing before Lights Out, their Steward said I had no right to say such a thing. When I asked what the problem was he told me you know what you said . Immediately I apologised as the last thing I wanted to do was offend a killer who showed no respect to his innocent victims.
All hell broke loose and to save any commotion I left. There was no need for that yesterday those that were in the TBS exchanged friendly banter throughout total overreaction.

I have no personal axe to grind with our stewards but the celebration of a goal should never be met with expulsion from the ground.
I was standing next to a guy mouthing off at a player and the ref last season, the player was getting stick especially and I couldn't help but join in which is quite odd for me but he was rude and didn't help himself by giving us all the wanker sign more than once.We were immediately surrounded by wannabe doormen stewards trying to look menacing (Which they weren't tbh)and this just gave the player the upper hand I felt to carry on with his rudeness.Nobody was actually gonna do anything and posed no real danger to anyone. Both the player and the guy (and yes even me) should have behaved better but it was blown out of all proportion by the heavy handedness of the stewarding team.
