Last season in the National League we were allowed to name seven substitutes on the bench with as many as four coming on. Am I correct in thinking that the number allowed in this division is lower?

I cannot see any evidence that the rules are any different in this division but think I was a bit confused because many of the teams have smaller squads and therefore name fewer substitutes.

Seven subs are still allowed, looking at what Torquay and Boreham Wood put out last season.

Until last season in National League North and South the rule was to name five subs and you could use them all. The rule has now been changed in line with the top flight and we can name seven subs and use five

All irrelevant of course until we actually sign enough players to put a full team out

We've just got enough for a five a side tournament!

Only if Lawless signs his new contract. At present we've only got fifteen contracted
